Title: Senior Robotics Engineer
Salary: Up to $130,000
Location: Remote based with 50% domestic USA & Canada travel requirements on a project-by-project basis.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a remote-based Sr. Robotics Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of manufacturing by designing, implementing, and optimizing robotic automation systems that increase productivity and reduce operational costs.

What We're Looking For:

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent robotic high-level and background programming skills on Fanuc, MotoMan, KUKA, ABB, or equivalent brands.
  • Experience with Robot simulation and off-line programming (RoboGuide, MotoSim, etc)
  • Communication setup (EIP, CClink, Ethercat, etc.).
  • Setup tools such as DCS, iRVision, TCP, User Frame, Aux Axis, CRX, IIC, Line Tracking, Force Sensing, iRPickTool, and PalletTool.
  • Proficient with 3D vision solutions such as Cognex, MechMind, Keyence
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites for system debugging and startup.
  • Familiar with RIA/ANSI 15.06-12 and other safety standards
  • Complete assigned project work per customer and requirements, on time, and within the project budget.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of extensive experience in Robotic programming and applications.
  • Hands-on experience commissioning and programming industrial robots
  • Robotic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Participate in a team-oriented phase-gate process.

To support customers successfully, you will be required to demonstrate competencies and experience with:

Manufacturing Facility Understanding - Leveraging your experience within a manufacturing organization (understanding manufacturing process flows) will support your suggestions to improve and streamline manufacturing facilities, making them safer and more efficient.

Remote Work and Business Travel - You will be required to travel up to 50% of the time (traveling to customers' sites, and company fabrication facilities) with the remainder being work from home/ remote office. Experience with this type of work/lifestyle is highly advantageous.
