The Role and Your Impact

As a Project Manager, you'll work alongside Account Executives and Engineers to bring game-changing solutions to life within the manufacturing facilities of our clients' customers. You’ll bring the vision together and work with its dynamic team of engineers to exceed client expectations around the scope of work. Your ability to speak to both shop floor workers and senior leaders will be crucial as you guide, coordinate, and support customer issues, ensuring smooth implementation and maximum results.

We're looking for a highly adaptive, fast-paced individual with a background in manufacturing and engineering project management, preferably with experience in CPG manufacturing. Your calm, clear, and concise communication skills will make you an invaluable asset in this fast-paced, complicated environment. Every week will bring new challenges as you collaborate with diverse teams to solve unique problems. Your ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple streams of activity will be essential.

Teamwork is at the heart of everything our client does. You'll interface with everyone on its team, building strong relationships and working together to achieve our goals. You'll also have the opportunity to travel, as 25% - 50% of the role involves domestic customer visits on a project-by-project basis.

The Basics

  1. Project Management Methodologies: Proficiency in project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches.
  2. Project Planning: Ability to create project plans, including scope definition, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk assessment.
  3. Budget and Cost Management: Experience in budgeting, cost control, and financial management for projects.
  4. Quality Assurance and Control: Knowledge of quality assurance processes and the ability to implement quality control measures throughout a project.
  5. Stakeholder Communication: Effective communication and collaboration with project stakeholders, team members, vendors, and clients.
  6. Risk Management: Identifying and mitigating project risks to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  7. Project Management Software: Proficiency in project management software tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, or Trello.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Operations or related field
  • 4+ years' of industry experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical parts and computer-aided design
  • PMP Certified or Eligible
