The Role: As an Applications Engineer, you'll be the bridge between groundbreaking technology and our client's valued customers. Your mission is to partner with its sales account executives and lead the charge in creating customized automation solutions. You'll travel across the USA and Canada, collaborating with customers, understanding their needs, and architecting solutions that will revolutionize their manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design PLC and line control programs that drive automation to the next level.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to shape automation strategies.
  • Create robotic automation solutions that redefine efficiency and productivity.
  • Leverage your manufacturing engineering expertise to optimize operations.
  • Use your influential skills to guide clients toward technological and operational excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Experience writing PLC programs is a must.
  • Proficiency in robotics automation is a strong advantage.
  • Manufacturing engineering experience that demonstrates your expertise and understanding of how to join the pieces together with smart conveyors.
  • Ability to influence and inspire people to embrace innovation.
  • Be fast and capable on CAD
  • Solid ability to lay out new lines within a CPG manufacturing unit.
  • Engineering education - ideally within Mechanical | Electrical | Robotics | Mechatronics

While experience in the food and beverage or CPG industry is preferred, a passion for technical requirements, such as automation controls, SCADA, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Vision Systems, and Robotics is required.
